Choose scale by the wall, not by the artwork alone.
The same composition can feel intimate, balanced or architectural depending on its size and the space around it. Available dimensions vary by artwork, so always use the size options shown on the product page as the final reference.
Intimate scale
Best for narrow walls, bedside placement, small consoles, reading corners or grouped arrangements. Leave enough breathing room around the artwork so it does not feel crowded.
Balanced scale
A strong choice above a sofa, sideboard, desk or bed. As a practical visual rule, the artwork should usually relate clearly to the width of the furniture below it rather than appearing isolated.
Statement scale
Designed for wide feature walls, large living rooms, reception spaces and open-plan interiors. Oversized work benefits from clear surrounding space and a simple visual environment.
Before ordering
Measure the wall and the furniture beneath it, then compare those dimensions with the exact size listed on the artwork page. Frame options can slightly increase the overall outer dimensions.
Choosing the right format
Portrait artworks: A natural choice for narrow walls, entrances, beside furniture and statement vertical compositions. Many portrait canvases are offered in formats such as 30 × 40 cm, 75 × 100 cm and 120 × 165 cm.
Square artworks: Balanced compositions that work well above consoles, in pairs and on gallery walls. Square sizes are available for selected artworks only.
Landscape and panoramic artworks: Particularly effective above sofas, dining consoles and wide architectural features. Their exact dimensions depend on the design.
Measure your space before ordering
- Measure the available wall width and height in centimetres.
- Consider the size of the sofa, console or architectural feature below the artwork.
- Leave comfortable visual space around the canvas and account for any frame thickness.
